Hello and welcome to the Hillcrest Middle School Library Media Center.
The Library Information Center was remodeled this summer and we are really enjoying our new look, especially the new doors with windows. Our Library is full of wonderful books to read and great books for research. Mrs. Mason would love to point you towards the answers to your questions or help you find a great book to read, stop by if you need any help or ideas.
STAFFOur LMC is staffed by Mrs. Jacquelynn Mason a full time,
certified librarian who is working on her 35th year as a
Teacher / Librarian.
HOURS
We are open 7:55am to 3:10pm daily. We operate on a
open schedule which allows our students optimum access
for research and book check out.
All students need to access the LMC is a teachers pass.
Students are invited to check out books before school and
right after dismissal, no passes are needed at those times.

Want to look up a book? Click InfoCentre Card Catalog, this feature will now work anywhere on the net. By clicking on the add button in your search list you may develope a list of books you would specifically like to look at; This list can be found if you click on the My List tab at the top of the page; This list may then be printed, please check with Mrs. Mason before printing. Remember you can look up what you have checked out under the My Info tab.
CITATION MACHINE: Do you need to cite a resource? Here is the place to help you do that correctly. Need help, stop by and see Mrs. Mason.
EBSCO Publishing:This is a subscription service we provide which contains magazines, newspapers, journals, online encycylopedia, health and animal information. Please see the Librarian for the username and password.
Clusty.com:This is a great search engine. You can use phrases in your search. This engine organizes all the hits that it finds for your topic, which makes finding the right web site much easier.
